+ We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our financial team.
+ This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and performing various accounting functions.
+ The Staff Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
+ The ideal candidate has strong experience in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Prepare and record journal entries and supporting analysis.
+ Conduct regular analysis of financial records to identify and resolve any discrepancies or variances.
+ Support the monthly close process and drive to meet scheduled deadlines.
+ Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
+ Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls.
+ Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and provide financial data for audits or other financial assessments.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
+ Review and/or develop processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
+ 3-5+ years Accounting with Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
+ Intermediate Excel proficiency; ability to create vlookups, pivot tables.
+ Nice to have: Jamis ERP and GOVCON accounting experience.
