Contract Administrator

to work onshore at Georgetown shore base. This position reports to:

Contracts Manager. Role Purpose The Contract Administrator will be a role, with infrequent business trips to other SBM offices and other locations (depending on business requirement) when approved in advance. CORE FUNCTIONS: Provide day to day Contract Management administration support to the Operations Contract Manager and the Area Manager. Responsible for the administration and management of contract documentation, such as change orders, letters, contract amendments, including all contract deliverables and documentation. Liaise with Guyana Operations Contract Manager, Finance leads, technical representatives and the Client to establish and maintain processes and procedures to manage main contractual requirements and deliverables e.g. annual operating budget, changes in key personnel, etc. Support Contract Manager Operations in creating contracting templates and assist with contract management training and awareness to both Shorebase and Global audiences. Manage and maintain electronic filing to ensure good records are kept. Assist supply chain professionals to overcome Subcontracting / Supply issues, exposures, claims and delays. Assist cost controllers to overcome Invoicing, recovery of reimbursables costs issues. Maintain accurate records of meeting and provide input into weekly and monthly reporting, both internal and external. Identify Risk and Opportunities in conjunction with Operations Contract Manager, register, monitor and report using Risk Platform DANTE. Personality / Behavioural: HSSEQ aware and to be HSSEQ KPI and performance targets conscious. Must be a self-leader and work well in a team, but with capability to work alone when required. Excellent analytical, document drafting and problem-solving skills. Establish and maintain

relationships at all levels. Exemplary communication skills and housekeeping mentality (record keeping). Sharp stakeholder engagement, capable of summarising and reporting detailed contractual issues. Fluent in English – written and verbal. Expected outcomes: Maintain accurate records of actions and plans to resolve. Performance in accordance with individual and team objectives. Diligent and timely reporting, weekly engagement of hot topics with Operations Contract Manager and Region 2 Contract Manager. Qualifications: Required to have a business / commercial administration qualification. Other technical qualifications considered. Experience: 1 – 2 years’ experience in administrative roles in the energy transitioning industry, preferred in areas such as, Law, Contracts, Construction Law, Finance, Cost, Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Strong demonstration of written advocacy and proven experience of taking responsibility to complete tasks in a time pressure environment. Must have post-award contract administration experience, typically in Lump Sum, Reimbursable and Measurable pricing structures. Awareness / Knowledge of HSSE&Q Management Systems / Procedures. Experienced user of SharePoint and Microsoft Office suite (MS Visio, word, excel and powerpoint). Experience with TEAMS and PowerBI desirable.
