Your Purpose:

We are searching for a passionate and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers building and maintaining our next-generation web applications. You will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of our products, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and direction for the development team, focusing on ReactJS, NodeJS, Microservices architecture, and Azure cloud platform.
Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and planning to development, deployment, and maintenance.
Recruit, interview, and hire top-tier software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
Establish clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews for your team members, providing constructive feedback and coaching for development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
Champion DevOps best practices, promoting automation, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure management.
Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process optimizations.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in web development, cloud computing, and people management.

Qualifications:

Minimum 8+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of leading and mentoring teams.
Strong technical expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS, Microservices architecture, and Azure cloud platform.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Proven people management skills, including experience in recruitment, performance management, and creating a positive team environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software systems.
Bonus Points:
o Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
o Experience in cloud platforms like AWS or GCP (along with Azure).
o Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
o Experience in implementing security best practices within software development

Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. 10-20% travel time is required.
