The Digital Solutions Architect is responsible for making high level design decisions for Digital Solutions projects, diagraming and modeling system architectures, advising on and supporting the technical aspects of Digital Solutions projects, problem solving and troubleshooting, advising development teams regarding tools, development platforms, and environments, advising best practices and processes for Digital Solutions project teams, acting as technical liaison between Digital Solutions project teams and external teams, and coordinating with and supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner with the creation and technical management of Digital Solutions project teams. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Diagraming and modeling system architectures. Advising on and supporting the technical aspects of Digital Solutions projects. Advising development teams regarding tools, development platforms, and environments. Advising best practices and processes for Digital Solutions project teams. Coordinating with and supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner with the creation and technical management of Digital Solutions project teams Who we are looking for EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Science degree or better in software engineering with 3.0 or greater GPA 5-7 years' experience with software engineering related project work in embedded development (preferably in projects involving complex systems similar to elevator and escalators) 3-5 years' experience in utilizing Agile Principles Outstanding skills in writing computer code Deep knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python or others Deep knowledge of UML Outstanding creative thinking skills Good to Outstanding skills in linear algebra, discrete mathematics, calculus, and statistics Good to Outstanding knowledge of Agile Development Principles Outstanding oral and written communication skills Outstanding leadership skills, congenial and upbeat personality What we offer Provided they meet all eligibility requirement under the applicable plan documents, employees will be offered medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, supplemental medical plans, basic life insurance, AD&D, short term and long term disability, optional life and AD&D, optional spouse and dependent life insurance, dependent life insurance, flexible spend account, health savings account, identity theft monitoring, pet insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Wellness program, and tuition reimbursement.
