The Director Third Party Risk contributes value to the company by managing and mitigating third-party risks. The individual oversees a team of professionals, tackling complex problems, driving the execution of departmental goals and influencing the adoption of practices and approaches. This role comes with significant impact on the department and other departments holistically, requiring experience and leadership skills to effectively communicate and influence at multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of third-party risk management
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate third-party risks
- Work cross-functionally to solve complex problems effectively and timely
- Supervise and mentor the third-party risk management team
- Influence adoption of practices and approaches aimed at mitigating third-party risks
- Support and execute the departmental objectives in alignment with the organization's goals
- Collaborate with executive leadership to assess risk-scenarios and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements

Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a talent for identifying innovative solutions
- Strong influential abilities, capable of advocating for best practices and approaches
- Effective communication skills, with an ability to engage and influence executive leadership

- Risk management certification preferred

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Job Tasks:
- Assessing and identifying third-party risks
- Developing and executing risk mitigation strategies
- Allocating and managing resources within the Third-Party Risk Management team
- Liaising with various stakeholders to solve complex problems and implement solutions
- Reporting to executive leadership about the third-party risk scenario

Software Application:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with specialized Risk Management software

Years Of Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of risk management experience
- Prior experience in a leadership or management role

Physical Requirements:
- This role primarily operates in a professional office setting
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and carry up to 20 pounds.
