Job Description:
The candidate will be a member of the Information Lifecycle Governance (ILG) team within the Information Protection department in Information Security. This individual will aid in coordinating the tactical and operational aspects of the ILG Program at the Bank. The incumbent will be experienced with ILG/records management policies, procedures, best practices, and Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles for the management of all Bank records across the enterprise, whether paper sourced or electronically sourced in nature.

(Responsibilities):

  • Help lead execution of periodic updates to the Bank's Records Retention Schedule
  • Assist Information Protection management with development of program related processes and procedures required to ensure the enterprise-wide classification, retention and defensible disposition of Bank records and information, applying industry accepted methodology in support of these objectives.
  • Assist Information Protection management with development of program related training and education plan build-out and future training plan implementation.
  • Collaborate with primary business unit stakeholders (including Information Technology, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Sourcing and Audit) to help implement effective Records Management program processes and procedures.
  • Provide enterprise-wide operational guidance and procedural support as first-line of response to questions, concerns, and/or program compliance requirements.
  • Employ strong written and oral communication, team collaboration skills, and sufficient technical knowledge to demonstrate information lifecycle governance competence and leadership among a diverse range and roles of key program stakeholders and general employee audience, using successful messaging approaches across all audiences.
  • Support business units' day-to-day needs and special projects or initiatives
  • Lead technology updates as database admin for physical records inventory systems
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional services firm, financial services corporation, government agency or other regulatory authority
  • 3+ years of experience serving as information technology or information security administrator for application, system, software, database, or other RIM, ILG, IG, DG technology platforms IGP, CRM, CIPP or PMP Certification in current standing or in pursuit
