Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Route Technician is responsible for delivering and picking up cassettes at customer locations and ensuring smooth customer transactions. The route positions require the enforcement of rules to protect the employees and customers, as well as the safety of persons in the vehicle and at the location of our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver, pick up, and reconcile cassettes at customer locations
- Collect CAD and MAD cash cans or replenish redemption terminal cassettes (based on daily needs or as supervisor requests)
- Complete paperwork and follow established procedures
- Remain alert and always prepared, follow established safety and security protocols, and watch for the accidental mishandling of packages that might result in a loss
- Reconcile customer deposits and receipts of all valuables handled throughout the daily scheduled run
- Other duties as assigned
- Replenish ATMSs
- Valid driver's license and maintenance of a satisfactory driving record
- Excellent ethics, integrity, attention to detail, and customer service
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Maintain professional demeanor
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including calculating figures and amounts and use of a keyboard
- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
- Occasionally required to lift/push weights up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
- Protective clothing or equipment is required that may include gloves, helmets, steel-toed boots, and/or protective eyewear
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
