Responsibilities

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to meet their requirements.

Review new quotes to determine if it is a fit, work with Sales Team to prepare the quote and submit it to the customer.

Address any customer concerns regarding shipments or production questions.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.

Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure effective communication and alignment on customer requirements.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to the management team.

Follow up on open quotes.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Previous sales experience within the machining industry is beneficial

Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Willingness to travel domestically 3-4 weeks per year
