About the Role: The Talent Acquisition Supervisor (Human Resource Supervisor) manages a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, coordinators, and a sourcer, to meet the ever increasing need to hire, promote, and develop our division's workforce in a timely and equitable manner. This role may also serve as a supervisor over other general HR functions. This position follows a hybrid work model, blending remote and in-person work. Job Duties What You Will Be Doing: Provide supervision and leadership of the Talent Acquisition function for the division to include technical assistance and support for recruiters. Lead process improvement efforts, oversee implementation of initiatives, and ensure measures are in place to evaluate effectiveness and goals are reached. In collaboration with the DNRP HR Talent Acquisition Program Manager and WTD HR Manager, monitor and implement management systems to maintain and enhance existing recruitment standards and ensure consistency and effectiveness of hiring practices. Support the development of key competencies and skills in the Talent Acquisition team. Support division Human Resources Manager with data, information, and process suggestions for ensuring the talent acquisition team is thriving and Division leadership team is informed. Create, analyze, and report out on talent acquisition metrics and/or other HR related metrics. Develop action plans informed by the metrics to achieve the division, department, and County's HR goals. Lead management and expedition of recruitment workload, collaborate with section managers to determine priorities, and assist in workforce planning efforts. May conduct full cycle recruitments for critical positions as needed. Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Qualifications You Bring: Talent acquisition experience to include leading a variety of different types of positions and recruitment processes in a union environment. Experience as a team lead or supervisor in a talent acquisition function. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and create and maintain effective relationships with all levels of an organization. Experience creating and using tools, metrics, and goals to manage work, set priorities, and monitor and share outcomes. Experience with process improvement projects and implementation. Strong technical skills with Microsoft products to include Word and Excel. Intermediate level experience with NEOGOV recruitment and onboarding-related modules. Intermediate level experience with PeopleSoft of other similar enterprise level HCM systems. It Would Be Great if You Also Bring: SHRM, HRCI, or AIRS recruitment certification. Experience with classification and compensation. Experience with PowerBI or other enterprise level visual management/dashboard tools. Supplemental Information Working Conditions: Work Location: The WTD Human Resources team works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is King Street Center, 201 S. Jackson, Seattle, Washington 98104. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely. The individual selected for this opportunity will join an innovative and progressive team that is redefining how we work as we transition to the department's hybrid environment. Employees will be provided with a County-issued laptop and must maintain a home workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Work Schedule: This full-time position works a 40-hour work week. This position is exempt from the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) and is not overtime-eligible.
