The company is hiring for their sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will identify and cultivate new prospects. Build prospecting efforts to firms and producers on a national basis, identify events throughout the year for our prospects and strategic partners, as well as direct calls and social media prospecting efforts.

Responsibilities

Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience

Expertise at developing relationships

Must be willing to travel

Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills

Identify, educate, and develop strong broker partner relationships

Mastery of company ecosystem and sales process

Willingness to prospect and build territory alignment for sales partners

Execution of prospecting goals and quotas established annually

Qualifications

Bachelors degree, or equivalent education and experience

2 years B2B sales experience, insurance experience preferred

Experience with territory planning, outbound proactive sales calls, and long sales cycle development is required for this role

Expertise with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Excel is required

Excellent written and verbal communication

Possess a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong networking skills

Must have or obtain (within a designated time frame) Life and Health License
