This position requires the selected candidate to work on-site for their first week. After the first week, this position is eligible to be 100% remote. Required: • Availability to work the 1st week at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL(required); • Experience in multiple IT areas (7+ years); • IT architecture experience (2-3 years); • Experience in applications systems design and integration, specifically mainframe batch schedulers, chaining jobs between predecessors and dependents, and column delimited flat text file structures; • Experience in Tibco Mainframe FOCUS: – Experience with master files; – Experience with complex queries involving multiple data sources; – Experience reading, creating, and updating flat files; – Experience with multiple include statements; • Experience in JCL: – Experience running multiple programs from single JCL jobs; – Experience with multiple RC Types; – Experience scheduling JCL jobs as well as reviewing executed jobs; – Experience submitting ad-hoc jobs; • Experience in the SCRUM Framework; • Experience in financial systems such as an ERP; • Experience with Entity Relationship Diagrams; • Experience documenting and communicating technical requirements; • Experience coordinating with Business Analysts to capture business requirements. include but are not limited to the following: • Analyze and document existing computing assets, including technical specifications and established business rules; • Assist with debugging and troubleshooting existing processes when needed; • Diagnose and resolve issues after performing root cause analysis; • Provide guidance and assist with remediating and upgrading legacy assets; • Coordinate with business analysts, other developers, and product owners to remediate the new state-wide accounting system; • Coordinate with database administrators in analyzing and remediating existing data structures; • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality and performance.
