The team is based in Boston, MA and as this is a Director role, you will need to based in Boston to be successful in this role and lead the team (Relocation Package offered to relocate to Boston).What You'll Do:Establish and lead a comprehensive internal engineering team, supporting all aspects of the company's operations.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering firms, vendors, and regulatory agencies.Manage the design, optimization, and engineering of projects throughout their lifecycle.Develop and implement internal design standards and quality control measures.Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and project documentation.Manage Engineering budgetsOversee engineering firms and equipment vendors to ensure projects remain feasible.Coordinate with design vendors to create solar design packages and material lists.Respond to contractor inquiries and reviews, adhering to project requirements and client goals.Implement and refine engineering quality assurance and quality control processes.
What You Bring:Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, or related field) with working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.7+ years of experience in technical engineering5+ years of experience in PV and energy storage projects, with expertise in PV modeling tools
Compensation & Location$165,000 to $175,000 Base20% BonusSTIP401k MatchHealth, Dental, Vision, PTOOn-site in Boston 2/3 days per week in the Boston Office
