The Senior Onshore Pipeline Engineer will offer bid/tender engineering assistance concerning onshore pipeline design and construction engineering. They will perform engineering calculations, studies, report writing, and field investigations. Additionally, they will oversee the technical content, work quality, and adherence to project timelines. This role involves providing procurement support for pipeline design and construction engineering, including assisting with alignment sheets, material take-offs, cost estimates, scopes of work, schedules, and technical clarifications.

Responsibilities: Take the lead in planning, designing, and engineering onshore pipelines, encompassing both distribution and transmission. Possess expertise in US and international design codes and standards applicable to onshore pipelines. Well-versed in US FERC and PHMSA regulations governing pipeline construction in environmentally sensitive areas, such as marshes and wetlands. Perform engineering calculations, studies, and report writing. Provide bid and tendering support for onshore pipeline design and construction. Demonstrate proficiency in pipeline hydraulics, mechanical design, control and protection systems, repair techniques, pipeline welding specifications, and pipeline technology. Serve as a technical specialist within the organization, applying advanced concepts, principles, and methodologies in the realm of onshore pipelines.

Qualifications: Possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering along with over 7 years of relevant experience in onshore pipeline design. Preferably hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Prior experience in CO2 pipeline projects is advantageous. Demonstrated success in consultancy for onshore pipeline studies, characterized by a pragmatic approach. Additional experience with H2, Natural Gas, and Hazardous Liquids pipelines is beneficial. Proficiency in GIS software and the ability to oversee the preparation of onshore pipeline alignment sheets. Openness to learning new software or analysis methods as project requirements evolve. Proficient in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MathCad; familiarity with AutoCAD is desirable. Strong communication, writing, and presentation abilities, coupled with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Exceptional organizational skills are essential. Possess knowledge and expertise gained through progressive experience to address critical issues and unique circumstances.
