About the Position

We are seeking a mid-level, experienced engineer to work on water resources projects in our Manchester, CT or New Haven, CT office. This professional will work with a team of technical specialists in the areas of stormwater and watershed management, climate and flood resiliency, hydrology & hydraulics modelling and design, dam analysis and design, and environmental impact assessment. This position will involve working on studies and planning, design and permitting, and construction administration for a range of water resources and climate resiliency projects throughout southern New England.


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or graduate) degree in environmental or civil engineering. Master's degree in related science, engineering, or planning discipline a plus.
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: hydrology & hydraulic modeling and design, watershed management, stormwater quality, climate change adaptation and resiliency, flood mitigation, and dam evaluation and design.
  • EIT required, PE licensure a plus
  • Relationships with/experience working with municipalities and state agencies desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Geographic Information System (GIS) software, working knowledge of HydroCAD, HEC RAS or other hydrology & hydraulics modelling, and familiarity with environmental permitting processes and regulations.
