Responsibilities of Senior Tax Manager:

  • Review, research findings and prepare corporate, partnership, estate, trust, gift and individual tax returns; formulate conclusions consistent with firm policies and professional standards, and determine implications and best course of action for client
  • Independently review and prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures for review and compilation engagements
  • Perform tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals while demonstrating strong communication skills
  • Manage and build strong business client relationships
  • Draft and review responses to tax notices from various federal and state tax agencies
  • Possess strong leadership skills; dedicate time to coaching and developing others through training, providing opportunities to help succeed
  • Manage progression of quality deliverables on time, in scope and within budget and/or realization goal

Preferred Experience of Senior Tax Manager:

  • B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting (MST/MBA is a plus)
  • CPA license is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 8+ years of work experience; public accounting experience is required.
  • Strong technical skills in taxation
