The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Must be willing to work in the office 3 days a week (remotely on Mondays and Fridays)

As a Senior Accountant, you will ensure contract administration accuracy and compliance, support management with reporting on practice operations, and hold responsibility for financial statements used by enterprise leadership to ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards.

Responsibilities

o Coordinate and review work completed by the staff accounting team

o Review monthly journal entries and account analysis to ensure accuracy

o Compose month-over-month market variance explanations

o Interact with various internal and external stakeholders

o Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

o Review and approve requests for Provider payments

o Mentor/Lead a team of accountants

o Provide technical training for your team

o Exercise professionalism to meet department-established deadlines

o Maintain relationships with your peer team, field team & hospital teams

o Identify areas for continued process improvements

Additional Information you would like to add I need someone who can pick up a task and run with it a task-based executor.

Qualifications

o Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Accounting or other business-related fields

o 5 years of progressive accounting experience w/ supervisory experience
