Automotive Parts Sales Associate

As a part of our growth, I-80 Auto Parts is looking for a dedicated Inside Automotive Parts Sales Associate with knowledge of replacement parts for the vehicle/ collision repair industry. This position will be eligible for competitive compensation including a commission program.

**Essential Job Duties**:

- Provide customer service, evaluate the customer’s needs, and answer questions regarding parts, pricing, product availability, and services.
- Provide relevant information on guarantees, prices, and payment methods.
- Complete internal documents supporting any transaction, interchange, and return.
- Advise customer on substitution or modification of part when requested part/car is not available.

**Preferred Qualification**
- Customer Service experience
- Prior experience selling and knowledge of automotive parts
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
- Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and cooperate with others.
- Must be able to convey product information and product availability to customers.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers.
- Must be organized, motivated, and an initiative-taker.
- Must be a collaborator that is able to work well with others.

**Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment**
- Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including Saturdays.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment where frequent interruptions may occur.
- Must be able to work under pressure comfortably.

Pay: $57,249.00 - $66,171.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
