Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Baseball Coach to join our team. As a Baseball Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and developing fundamental baseball skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship among players. This is a paid position.

Gold Glove Academy works with players ages 8-20 years old through group sessions, camps and clinics for all ages. Many different coaching opportunities available through Gold Glove Academy and more

**Duties**:

- Plan and conduct baseball practices and training sessions
- Teach players proper techniques for hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running
- Develop practice drills and activities to improve players' skills
- Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players
- Organize and lead team practices, scrimmages, and games
- Create game strategies and make in-game adjustments as needed
- Promote a positive and inclusive team environment
- Ensure the safety of all players during practices and games
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with students or athletes in a coaching capacity
- Playing and/or Coaching Experience
- Strong knowledge of baseball rules, strategies, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage behavior and maintain discipline among players
- Passion for teaching and developing young athletes
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the team's schedule
- Valid driver's license for transportation to games or tournaments
- Behavior management
- Experience working with children in childcare or educational settings.
- Strong background in baseball coaching.
- Ability to climb stairs or ladders if necessary.
