**Infection Preventionist-RN** **Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing-
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License-
- Wound care/infection prevention experience preferred, not required-
- Infection Prevention Training offered-
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.-
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice.-
- Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.-
- Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.-
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.-
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.-
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.-
- Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN may be considered**Infection Preventionist-RN **Schedules & Benefits:
