**4 hours per day, Monday-Friday**
**Afternoon to early evening hours**
**Starting Wage: $16 per hour**
**Job Summary**:
An industrial cleaner is a person whose janitorial duties consist of cleaning and maintaining a factory or other industrial facility. Commonly, janitorial work includes floor care, cleaning and restocking restrooms, removing trash, washing windows, and some maintenance or repair work on facilities or grounds.

**Essential Job Functions**:
To perform the job successfully, the individual must accomplish the following:

- Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around factory and/or office buildings.
- Cleans floors and rooms. including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
- Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
- Vacuums, empties trash, and replaces liners.
- Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
- Transports dirty linens to correct area to be cleaned and restocks areas with clean linens.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Performs additional duties as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team.
- Proven working experience as a Cleaner
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree

**Working Environment**:

- Position may require extended hours on occasion.
- Position requires frequent bending, walking, and standing.
- Requires lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
