**Summary**:A dishwasher cleans dishes and ensures they are clean and sanitary. Restocks clean dishes to be used again.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Washes dishes, utensils and cookware following established procedures.
- Cleans and maintains dish area equipment.
- Tests sanitizer solution every hour for effective levels and makes changes when sanitizer is not at proper levels.
- Follows food safety and health code regulations.
- Always wears gloves and hair restraints when handling food.
- Maintains hygiene.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

- Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments.
