**Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description**:
Nova Construction Services is an established and leading Exterior Building Renovation contractor in New York City. Nova prides itself on working on unique projects across NYC and providing an excellent level of project management. The company runs on the EOS System and empowers employees to dream big and achieve their goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, including tracking vendor payments, invoices, and statements.
- Match packing slips with invoices, then record them using Foundation accounting software.
- Ensure that all invoices are paid promptly and accurately, adhering to established procedures.
- Track and pay recurring bills on a monthly basis.
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain strong business relationships with vendors.
- Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.
- Provide weekly and monthly AP reports upon request.
- Carry out essential accounting tasks as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Accuracy in data entry and experience with Excel and accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to review work thoroughly.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong listening and communication skills with all levels of personnel.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- 2+ Years Experience
Pay: $59,800.00 - $68,640.00 per year
