**Job Summary**:
The Middle School Dean/Athletic and Activities Director will be responsible for middle school student discipline, and will engage in duties including, but not limited to, scheduling athletics/activities, hiring and evaluating coaches and sponsors, and serving as the school representative for IESA.
Oversees/manages annual Outdoor Education programs.
**Additional Information**:
This is an 11 month position.
July 16th to June 15th - annually
**Salary Rate / Pay Rate**:
Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package
**Required Qualifications**:
1. Master’s Degree
2. Current Professional Educator License (PEL)
3. Type 75 Administrative Endorsement
4. At least 3 years of experience in PK - 8 administration
5. Knowledge of IESA rules and regulations
6. Experience working with contracts, scheduling, hiring and evaluating personnel.
**Work Hours**:
Work in a typical school setting with travel to various sporting events. Work during typical school hours. Does include supervision hours in evenings.
**Functional Expectations**:
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods of time
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
