**Your Team**
This position reports to the Director of Program Management, and is responsible for program definition, leadership, and communication across a portfolio of product development, sustaining, or improvement projects within the Medication Delivery Global Business.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Provide business and technical leadership for a significant program(s) within the Medication Delivery Business.
- Leads cross-functional teams in defining program strategies, planning, defining scope, execution, developing goals, monitoring and program closure.
- Accountable for core team performance, project schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend.
- Provide cross-functional leadership ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders.
- Manage all financial aspects of assigned projects, from initiation through close, which may include capital expenditures, functional expenses, and program positioning.
- Lead teams in timely resolution of issues, including development of technical solutions, project and resourcing plans, and budgets.
- Lead small or medium-complexity programs independently or will lead portions of a large-complexity program under the direction of a senior Program Manager.
- Ensures identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and leads core team in the proactive management of risk response strategies.
- Leads new product development programs and/or life-cycle management of product portfolios.
- Comfortable communicating with senior leaders inside and outside the business unit.
**What you'll bring**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related discipline plus 10+ years' experience or a Master's degree in related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of product life cycle experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site, global, or enterprise-wide programs in the medical products industry.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
- Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, experienced in analyzing complex problems and in driving high performing teams.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Product Development Process requirements.
- Strong leadership and financial acumen skills.
- Proficient with scheduling software.
- Proven product development experience.
