Through WellSense Health Plan, BMCHS covers over 40% of all Massachusetts’ Medicaid members in exclusive payer-provider partnerships with eight accountable care organizations. The VP of Digital Strategy, Product and Solutions will be instrumental in driving cross-functional partnerships with various operations teams, product development, and engineering departments. The primary focus will be on enhancing process quality, product readiness, and the overall maturity of our product operations. The role will be pivotal in achieving operational excellence, efficient resource management, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to propel the success of the Digital Information office.

**Responsibilities**:
The VP of Digital Strategy, Product and Solutions will play a critical role in developing and leading key technology programs while ensuring strategic alignment with our mission of delivering exceptional and equitable healthcare to all. This position will be the right hand of the CDIO, overseeing the strategic planning process of technology and product operations as well as implementation. Key responsibilities include:

- Partner with CDIO to launch and lead RFP Process, for Digital Strategy Task Force. The task force for leading BMCHS Digital Vision & Strategy development along with a multi-year implementation strategy
- Recruit, Hire and Manage Digital Solution Pods, resourced with cross functional team. Skillsets include Experience Lead, UX/UI Designer, BMCHS Integration Lead, Business Analyst, Quality Engineer, Engineers (Full stack and DevOps), UX/UI Developer, Data Engineer, Architects (Data and Integration), Product Owner/Manager, Scrum Master
- Lead task force in defining and measuring current state infrastructure, efficiency, revenue opportunities and enterprise data and analytics solutions, at a level of detail needed to develop the multi-year roadmap
- Defining digital solutions roadmap, including the aspects of people, process and associated financial impact (cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue generation, etc.)
- Accountable for the integrated digital experiences for patient, clinicians, payers, employees
- Responsible for driving the strategic product vision and implementing product strategies
- Directly accountable for the engineering, planning, leadership, and direction of the technology capabilities that will support the delivery of BMCHS’ digital strategy, including data and insight as inputs for customer and wider business enterprise strategies
- Leads the creation and execution of digital strategy roadmaps in collaboration with Product Managers, Engineering leadership, and Business leadership to drive innovation
- Manages the development delivery process and collaborating with engineering, product, business leadership, and HR to drive technology hiring strategy
- Fosters effective cross-team collaboration and enabling efficient delivery of product enhancements using Agile, Lean and Six sigma methodologies
- Provides strategic guidance and oversight to cross-functional teams involved in digital initiatives
- Prepares executive-level reports for internal decision-making and represents BMC in external forums
- Manages vendor relationships and partnerships to ensure the successful delivery of digital projects and initiatives
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and exploration of new technologies
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of enterprise software engineering tools, practices, and processes to enable repeatable and reliable change
- Develops and leads an innovation center to explore digital solutions prior to full scale implementation
- Accountable to measurable business outcomes driven by digital solutions
