**Summary of Position**

We are seeking a Naval Communications Security Material System (NCMS) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Local Registration Authority (LRA) to support Navy PKI product support, operational processes, and tracking. The position provides administrative and some IT-related support to help the Navy manage certificate requests and assist customers in obtaining and using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates. A background in IT is not required, but a willingness and demonstrated ability to learn the duties of an IT-related position are essential.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Assist NCMS Registration Authority (RA) personnel with registering and establishing Local Registration Authority (LRA) and Trusted Agents (TA) accounts.
- Ensure quality control of the documentation required to vet and approve LRA and TA applicants across the Navy.
- Coordinate with individual applicants and NCMS personnel to control the validation/ registration process.
- Ensure TAs have been designated in writing by Commanding Officer and have been properly trained.
- Input data and pull reports from an external database in support of the Certificate Authority.
- Maintain master spreadsheets for Token Management to track orders requests and generate status reports on pending or shipped orders.
- Register and enroll users, and issue SIPRNET PKI certificates on a DoD token.
- Use computer hardware and software to revoke, suspend and restore electronic keys.
- Participate in researching in-house records, reference materials, archives and automated data bases at managers' request.
- Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor(s)
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Active Secret DoD Security Clearance
- Citizenship verification required due to Export Control compliance. A "US Person" is defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 which includes US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, certain refugee or asylee designations.
- Willing to undergo an investigation for a security clearance and not previously had a security clearance denied or dismissed.
- At least one (1) year work experience with smart or CAC cards is preferred, but two (2) years of government technical experience will be accepted.
- Frequently remain in stationary position, frequently operate computers and other office equipment, frequently communicate to exchange information with people via voice and/or written language, occasionally carry and/or lift items up to 20 pounds, and occasionally move about the office to access office equipment

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Security + CE certification is desired but not required
