Overview:
We are seeking a to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. This is a part-time position with competitive pay.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide information to patients regarding dental procedures, treatments, and post-operative care
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and data entry
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency in medical administrative support software such as Eaglesoft
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 26 per week
