We are looking for an Aesthetics professional to support our partner, Korman Plastic Surgery & Wunderbar Medspa, located in Mountain View, CA, in the role of a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the team in providing top-notch patient care.

**Schedule**:
Mon-Fri from 9 am - 5 pm, occasional Saturday with advanced notice

**Responsibilities**:

- Administrative duties, such as charting, ordering medical supplies, and helping with consents
- This position includes supporting the front desk some but mostly the back office helping prep rooms and for our surgical and non-surgical providers
- Assist in a wide range of aesthetic procedures, including injectables, laser treatments, and skincare treatments
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and suture removals
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and impeccably sanitized
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide support for administrative tasks as required
- Collaborate effectively with the medical team to ensure a smooth patient experience
- Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and conduct follow-ups with professionalism and courtesy
- Adhere to all relevant medical and spa regulations and protocols

**Patient Care**:

- Direct patients to exam rooms according to appointment times
- Set up exam rooms for procedures, anticipate provider needs, and maintain room cleanliness
- Prepare products for provider use and ensure they have all necessary patient information
- Draw blood, and remove sutures, as requested by the clinical supervisor
- Handle photo-taking requests and ensure exam rooms are straightened and sterilized after patient visits
- Assist patients at check-out to ensure compliance and future bookings

**Surgical Patient Care Coordinator Assistant**:

- Assist with prescription communication, garment orders, post-operative logistics, and breast implant warranty claims
- Perform additional surgical administrative tasks as directed

**Additional Duties**:

- Maintain inventory levels and stock all exam rooms
- Notify clinical staff promptly of supply needs to prevent shortages
- Support the Patient Experience Coordinator with various tasks, including answering phones, scheduling, checking patients in and out, and receiving payments
- Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator to assist with content creation
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to practice improvement
- Assist in inventory counts as needed by the financial manager
- Participate in various educational and training activities as required
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Identify problems and propose solutions in areas of responsibility
- Help foster a "team approach" throughout the practice
- Support patient care coordinator in selling and upselling services and products
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks for exam rooms and the office
- Uphold Dr. Korman's vision and values for exemplary patient care
- Credential Dr. Korman and the office to attract new patients
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of 6 months of on-the-job experience in a medical office or related field is preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Excellent communication skills and follow-through
- Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office is a plus
- Phlebotomy experience - preferred
- Suture removal experience - preferred
- Familiar with EHR software for healthcare systems
- Excellent customer service with a patient focus
