**DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION**
- Assist the department leadership with the coordination of the daily operations of the Case Management Department. Acts as a resource to Case Management staff, community partners, and insurance payors.-
**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS** (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)**Experience**:
- Two years with an electronic healthcare system (Meditech, Allscripts, etc.).
- Two years in a professional healthcare office setting (answering phones, handling correspondence, etc.).
- Intermediate level knowledge of MS office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance payers and billing experience required.
**Education and Training**:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree preferred.
- **License, Certification & Registration**:
- None.
- **Other Requirements**:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and conflicting demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Proven ability to analyze and present data.
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Sensitive to diverse cultures and cultural differences.
- Knowledge of community partners and facilitates communication and collaborative educational presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced multifaceted position.
- Must be flexible to cover office for vacations.
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills.Location: Berkshire Health Systems - BMC Case Mgt/Social Svcs
Schedule: Full Time, Shift 1, 6:30am-3:00pm
