**Job Purpose/Summary**:

- Information Services, in partnership with business stakeholders, is embarking upon a multi-year effort to address legacy system risk and modernize systems.
- This effort has Executive visibility and aims to deliver material value creation in the form of significant risk mitigation, improved user experience, and modernization.
- The Specialist, Performance Analysis plays a key role in delivering against this strategy by supporting and enabling numerous capabilities within our IS Business Office team:

- ** IS Departmental Performance Reporting**: enable effective communication of the value IS brings to the business via technology enablement and highlight IS progress against strategic objectives.
- ** IS Strategic Vendor Management (SVM)**: partner with our SVM team to enable 2-way score carding and maximize value from our strategic relationships.
- ** IS Portfolio Management**: partner with our IS Portfolio Management team to manage our portfolios of work which is key to IS being able to ‘tell our story’ with respect to return on technology investment.
- This role is ideal for someone with a consultancy background, as it requires a combination of business & financial acumen, strong communication skills, confidence in engaging with senior executives, and a willingness to work with ambiguity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help measure and communicate departmental success. Research, design, deploy, and continuously improve our visualization of departmental markers of success and KPIs to articulate the value received from IS investment.
- Engage and partner with midstream peer companies to complete our Annual IS Competitor Assessment Report. This deliverable informs our IS strategy and target investment profile.
- Facilitate IS Senior Management meetings to discuss departmental performance.
- Create and deliver executive ready presentations that ‘tell the IS story’ around our cost structure and value realized from our effort and spend.
- Partner with our Strategic Vendor Management team to create materials for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with our key vendors, manage our IS Vendor Risk Register and Commitment Report, and foster a continuous improvement mindset with process development & enhancement.
- Partner with our IS Portfolio Management team to develop and engage stakeholders with our IS Showback Model, IS Portfolios, budget creation and analysis, spend analytics, and process improvement. There are numerous ‘one-off’ requests cascaded from IS and Business executives that are high profile in nature which fall to this team.

**Collaborate with**:

- IS Change Enablement to design and deliver departmental messages highlighting wins, areas for improvement, and behaviors we would like to reinforce as part of our focus on IS culture.
- IS Solution Delivery and IS Infrastructure / Cyber team to incorporate KPIs in alignment with our Quarterly IS Performance Report and IS Board Report.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, business or a related field.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI.
- Consultancy background is preferred. Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of strategic planning and decision making, navigating ambiguity, and building trusting relationships.
- Strong communication, for example conveying information to diverse audiences in a way that is easily understood and actionable.
