Desirable Qualifications
- The Associate Governmental Program Analyst should be well informed on Division, District and Departmental programs, policies, and procedures. The Incumbent must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work directly with Department and District management as well as congressional, state, local officials, outreach agency partners and private citizens. Incumbent must possess knowledge of the principles of public relations, California State Government, and public administration. Must have a thorough knowledge of the District's current and proposed plans, general operations and the responsibilities of all District Divisions and Offices. Must possess the ability to translate technical information into terms easily understood by the public, possess working know ledge of personal computers, and programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platforms.
