We are seeking a skilled professional for the position of Bilingual Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. This position provides administrative and general receptionist support to ensure smooth and effective office operation and maximum efficiency. Primary duties answering incoming calls, receiving visitors, managing office supplies and equipment, and providing clerical and administrative assistance.

**Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for effectively communicating with all callers/visitors in English (and in Spanish as needed).
- Welcomes volunteers, vendors, and other visitors in a warm and congenial manner, determines the nature of their business, ensures that they sign in and are issued a badge, and announces visitors to appropriate staff member.
- Answers and directs phone calls or take messages for appropriate staff member. Provides responses to general questions about AACFB (address, hours of operation, pantry partner locations/hours, etc.).
- Under the direction of supervisor, resolves various front office issues and complaints.
- Responsible for managing office equipment (i.e. postage machine, copiers, water cooler) including working knowledge of equipment, ensuring equipment is stocked and in working order, coordinating office equipment maintenance with vendors, and training others in their use as needed.
- Orders and receives supplies and maintains these items in an organized office supply room, keeping an adequate inventory of essential office supplies.
- Arranges the shipment of all outgoing mail.

**Secondary/Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Schedules meetings, makes copies, takes meeting minutes, etc. as requested by management.
- Prepares agendas for meetings and makes arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons, for committee, and other meetings as requested by management.
- Translates documents into Spanish as needed.
- As needed, provides support with special projects to all departments.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**Education, Experience, and Competency Requirements**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Comprehension of the Spanish language via written and verbal communication required.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak in English and Spanish.
- Strong verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and a self-starter.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks with limited guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- A strong work ethic with a high level of attention to detail.
- A team player with ability to work collaboratively with fellow staff members and volunteers.
- Punctual with strong attendance history.

**Work Environment and Requirements**
- Semi-private, temperature-controlled office.
- Able to sit at a desk for up to 6 hours per day.
- Need to be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and carry items from Warehouse across parking lot.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including phone, computer, and copy machine.
- Ability to maintain confidential and private information.
- Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment with limited privacy.
- Must have reliable transportation.

**Employment Type, Compensation, Benefits, Work Hours**
- **30 **hours per week, on-site.
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Base Salary: $16.35 - $22.79 per hour
- 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
