An injection molding manufacturer located in Lake Forest, IL is seeking full-time experienced Quality Control Technicians with basic computer and math skills, knowledge of a variety of measuring devices, good communication skills, ability to document results and assist the manager. Seeking full time for **2nd shift and 3rd Shift** offering insurance, paid vacation, paid breaks, and paid holidays.

1st Shift 7 am-3 pm ($15.50 hour)

**2nd Shift 3 pm-11 pm ($16.00 hour)**

**3rd Shift 11 pm-7 am ($16.75 hour)**

.25c Increase after 1 year (2-year limit)

**Responsibilities**
- Compare products to an existing standard of visual and dimensional acceptability
- Thoroughly inspect inventory when necessary
- Assess and correct machine operators’ work
- Notify machine operators when machines need to be adjusted
- Fill out inspection forms
- Label inventory with descriptive labels

**Knowledge**
- Basic Geometry; how to measure shapes
- Basic arithmetic
- Basic computer navigation
- Data entry
- Problem solving
- Perform tasks with repeatable results

**Abilities**
- Read charts
- Fill out forms with numerical details
- Take detailed records of dimensions
- Visual acuity
- Able to read measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, other gages)
- Walking/standing most of the day
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to use basic hand tools

FULL-TIME MONDAY-FRIDAY WITH OPTIONAL OT ON WEEKENDS
