Ice Distribution Representative

The Wisconsin State Fair Park (WSFP) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist and fulfill ice needs at the Fair. This individual will work with the Vendor Services Department to distribute ice for the duration of the Fair.

**EMPLOYMENT TYPE**:
This position is an unclassified, seasonal Limited Term Employment (LTE) position within the State of Wisconsin employment system. This role will work in a full-time capacity over the 11-day annual Wisconsin State Fair, which includes weekends. There may be additional work hours offered before and/or after the annual fair. Annual hours worked in this position will not exceed 1039 hours.

**COMPENSATION**:
The starting wage for this role will be $15.00**.**:
**WHO CAN APPLY**:
This position is open to all qualified State of Wisconsin residents who meet the outlined criteria.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Ability to work July 29- August 11, 4-hour to 6-hour morning shifts
- Assist in ice distribution operations
- Taking direction from Ice Distribution Lead to ensure all orders are filled properly and in a timely manner
- Provide customer service to Vendors as needed
- Communicate thoroughly with Vendor Services Department

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
- Excellent listening skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to make decisions and handle time constraints and pressure situations.
- Ability to work long hours in an outside environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
