**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end closings.
4. Continue to manage internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
6. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic financial plans to support the company's growth objectives.
7. Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for corrective action.
8. Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
9. Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to support to foster their growth and development.
10. Perform ad hos financial analysis and special projects as needed to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
11. Comply with debt covenants.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA preferred but not required.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting requirements and regulatory compliance.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems; experience with Quickbooks Online preferred.
5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and draw meaningful insight.
6. Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
8. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
10. Experience with cost accounting is a plus.
11. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organization.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
