Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance. Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical histories, and confirming purpose of visits.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Saves provider time by helping with office procedures-
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records and keeping patient information confidential-
- Counsels patients by transmitting physician’s orders and answering questions about treatments, surgeries, etc.-
- Schedules surgeries by making any necessary arrangements with our authorization coordinator, completing preoperative questionnaire, etc.-
- Timely responses to communications from patients, pharmacies, insurance companies, etc.-

- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations-
