Safely drives a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) truck to complete assigned tasks on swing routes in Orange, TX, US.**Compensation**:
$18 - $20 hourly

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a CMV truck on swing routes in Orange, TX, US.
- Adhere to Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle as per company expectations.
- Conduct pre
- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle using standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
- Report any unsafe situations or service calls to Supervisor/Manager or Dispatch before starting service.
- Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings required by Supervisor/Manager.
- Collaborate with Supervisors/Managers to enhance route efficiencies and address any problems or unsafe accounts.
- Perform duties as per the schedule provided by Supervisor/Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as needed.
- Notify Supervisor/Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage promptly.
- Inform Dispatch or Supervisor/Manager of issues such as blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups, or any problems during the route.
- Relay customer requests or problems to Dispatch or Supervisor/Manager.
- Ensure all containers are completely emptied and leave the customer's location clean and debris-free.
- Position containers on the customer's property correctly to ensure lids are secured, containers are upright, and driveways or traffic are not obstructed.
- Follow assigned routes throughout the day and complete all necessary documentation at the end of the route.

**Qualifications**:
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience
- Education: No education required.
- Experience: Two (2) years previous experience in a driver position

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- Commercial Drivers License A (CDL).
- Class B licenses are acceptable.
- Eligible to legally work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required
- Acceptable driving record required.
