The Security Supervisor is responsible for the flow of communication between clients, guards, account managers / leads and the owner of the company.
The Security Supervisor will work closely with individual account management to ensure operational support through site inspections and ensuring site coverage.
The supervisor will work a fixed post in 3-4 days per week where scheduling and data entry can be done.
- Conduct post inspections to ensure professional image (including good hygiene and uniform compliance / appearance of officers) and quality of standards are being maintained.
- Making sure that rules and regulations regarding the companies policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Respond to call-offs or open shifts that occur which may include contacting other guards to fill-in and/or standing post until replacements arrive, ensuring site coverage.
- Able to manage issues that involve scheduling such as accommodating an officer's request for time off or the need for a current schedule update because of a call-off or a no show for a shift.
- Work with Account Managers to appropriately document coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, training plans, and manage relationships with Security Officers.
- Assist with job starts, special events and account setups.
- Identify any personnel problems occurring at posts, such as payroll issues, employee relations complaints or other concerns, and forward any such issues to the Company owner and/or HR Representative. May also be responsible for authoring a report of the situation or assisting with an investigation, as directed by owner.
- Distribute equipment to posts as directed by the owner.
- Tracking & reporting all guards hours to the payroll dept (most are sent by account leads).
- Weekly collection of time logs / break sheets from accounts and send to bookkeeper

**Qualifications**:
- 5 + years of previous contract security supervision, management, operations, or supervisory experience.
- Must have a good interpretation of the Company's service goals and responsibilities.
- Must have a current BSIS guard card and pass a background check.
- Report writing skills are a MUST.
- Experience in developing, motivating, and training staff.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills REQUIRED.
- Ability to work in a collaborative management environment with the ability to work independently.
- Previous scheduling experience REQUIRED.
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet project deadlines (attention to detail a must).
- Well developed skills in organization and decision making.
- Strong computer and smartphone skills needed.
**Salary**: $22-25 / hour with room for monetary growth (profit sharing for new accounts brought in)
Expected hours: 40 plus per week
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
