**Purpose and Performance Goals**:
Assists room attendants, cleans and maintains public hotel areas according to established brand/ hotel guest service and sustainability standards.

**Responsibilities/Duties**
- Reports to duty on time and in uniform
- Cleans and services assigned areas in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and hotel standards
- Assists with the stripping of rooms by removing dirty linen and garbage
- Removes trash or debris from guest hallways. Vacuums/ mops guest hallways.
- Sweep and mops stairwells as needed
- Restocks ice machines with icebags daily or as needed
- Dusts, polishes, cleans and sanitize surfaces
- Restocks floor closets with linens, guest supplies
- Assists room attendants with removing garbage and soiled linens from their carts
- Responds quickly to guests, supervisor, or management requests in a friendly and timely manner
- Delivers linen and other necessary supplies to room attendants
- Performs all other department related tasks, as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**
- Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays
- Command of the English language in order to communicate with guests and associates
- Proven sell motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision
- Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
- Work well within a diverse team environment

**Physical Demands**
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Able to bend, stoop, and kneel for low area cleaning
- Able to lift/push 100 pounds loaded cart

Pay: $18.50 per hour
