**COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING POSITIONS OPEN IN FULLERTON, CA**:
**Tier 1: Estimating Admin**
- **Experience**:

- Prior commercial construction estimating or assisting estimators or have a financial background.
- **Software**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Knowledge of construction management software (Autodesk Build, Procore, etc.)
- Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work on multiple projects and be accountable.

**Tier 2: Junior Estimator (**in addition to Tier#1):

- **Experience**:

- Hands-on field experience in commercial construction
- Creating bid packages (SOVs, qual letters, etc.)
- Existing relationships with subcontractors in the region
- **Software**:

- Proficient in takeoff/quantification software (On-Screen, Bluebeam, etc.)
- **Skills**:

- Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
- Identify RFIs, value engineering, and constructability issues.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Able to bid on multiple projects at same time.
- **Plus**: successful experience with Fortune 500 clients

**Tier 3: Estimator (in addition to Tier #2)**:

- **Experience**: 5+ years estimating complex ground-up commercial projects
- **Software**:

- Proficient in comprehensive estimating software (Sage, ProEst, etc.)
- Expert in MS Project for scheduling and resource planning
- Advanced Excel modeling, data analysis and automation
- **Skills**:

- Quantitative cost analysis and value engineering
- Negotiation and effective communication at all levels
- Mentoring/training junior staff
- Working knowledge of construction finance/accounting

**Conditions and Clarifications**:

- Successfully pass the background check.
- Available to work 40+ hours/week, including some evenings/weekends.
- Relevant references and work samples may be required for tiers 2 and above.
- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
- Must have a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local construction codes/regulations is essential.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to learn quickly.
- Committed team player with a collaborative mindset.

**Basic Company Requirements**:

- Non-smoking environment.
- Work “In Office” position. (Not remote or hybrid.)
- Ability to pass background, pre-employment physical and drug screening.
- US Work Authorization.
