The Secretary performs clerical and secretarial duties within the perioperative services department, including gathering procedure clearances for medical records, scanning records, and supporting PAT (pre-admission testing) department with documents related to the procedures. Collaborates with department personnel to facilitate a teamwork environment.
- QUALIFICATIONS- High School Graduate, Associates degree preferred. Hospital surgical services or surgical office experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. EPIC experience and computer skills strongly preferred. Secretarial training, typing, computer skills, Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact effectively with all hospital personnel.
