**JOB SUMMARY**:
To obtain a Green Card or become a Naturalized Citizen of the United States, patients must complete an I-693 Federal Form. The Medical Coordinator assists patients in completing their vaccine record, health history and physical examination alongside the Civil Surgeon.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Coordinates all medical examination requirements, including medical history, applicable diagnostic checks, and medical report forms.
- Identify patient's care requirements.
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (check pulse, blood pressure, height, weight and temperature, provide vaccinations etc.)
- Collaborates with Civil Physician to complete physical exams, complete patient records, and complete vaccine records.
- Cultivates a climate of trust and compassion for patients, excellent customer service with sensitivity to cultural and religious backgrounds of our patient population.
- Remain up-to-speed with developments and best practices relative to USCIS medical examination protocols as assisted by the Civil Surgeon.
- Prepare and assist in Immigration document preparation following USCIS protocols.
- Effective communication and interaction with patients of different cultural backgrounds for whom English may not be their 1st language, fellow providers, managers and other colleagues.
- Travel between 2 clinics is required.

**MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Familiarity with professional and technical emerging vaccine and I-693 form updates for all ages, children and adults.
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Compassionate, approachable with good communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Respect for patient's confidentiality
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Clinical experience, i.e. Medical Assistant, License Practical Nurses, Registered Nurse, or Phlebotomy, preferred
- Experience with the USCIS/INS immigration physical process (I-693 form) preferred
