**Job Title: Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry**
**Location**: Joliet, IL, 60435
**Shift**: Day | 8 hours x 5 days
**Job Type**: Contract
**Contract Duration**: 13 weeks, possible extension
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting
- Monitor and assess patients’ health status and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-hospital care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
**Qualifications**:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work a day shift (8 hours x 5 days)
