A well-established company owning automotive dealerships and real estate in Los Angeles is excited to welcome an experienced Automotive Business Manager/Controller to our team. This role will oversee both the newly opened Acura of Los Angeles Westside and Honda of North Hollywood.

**Position Overview**:
As our Automotive Business Manager/Controller, you will be pivotal in overseeing the financial health of both dealerships. Your expertise will ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and submit accurate monthly dealership financial statements in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and timelines.
- Monitor financial statements and accounts, informing senior management of trends or issues.
- Review operations and accounts, suggesting improvements and cost reduction strategies.
- Provide timely and accurate financial and management reports to department managers.
- Ensure dealership compliance with government regulations and submit necessary reports.
- Stay current with laws and regulations including employment laws, OSHA, and tax compliance.
- Enforce company policies and propose new policies to enhance operations.
- Review and negotiate vendor contracts on behalf of the dealerships.
- Supervise reconciliation of general ledger, bank, reserve, factory payable, and floor plan accounts.
- Manage dealership cash reserves effectively.
- Supervise business office personnel, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, DMV registration, payroll, IT, and human resources.
- Coordinate with external accounting and legal professionals.
- Perform additional duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 to 10 years of automotive business-related experience.
- Experience managing multiple rooftops.
- Proficiency with Dealertrack DMS and myKaarma.
- Full-time availability and at least 18 years old.
- Creative, positive, team player attitude.
- Ability to make informed business decisions.
- Honesty, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic.
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to sit/stand interchangeably throughout the day.
- Use hands, fingers, and arms continually.
- Bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, and kneel frequently.
- Lift and carry items exceeding 50 pounds.
