**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement daily lesson plans and activities designed by the lead teacher or come up with activities on your own.
- Provide supervision and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children through play, communication, and structured activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Assist with meal times, diapering, and other basic care routines.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with the classroom teachers and directors about children's progress and behavior.

**Qualifications**:

- Associates or Bachelors degree in Education preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with young children.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with other staff members.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Bilingual French or Mandarin speaker preferred.

**Additional Information**:

- This is an on-call position to cover for lead teachers' absences.
- Hours may vary depending on the needs of the preschool and availability of the substitute teacher.
