Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Tyrone, PA, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking a Counter Sales Representative. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately enter customer orders that are received on the telephone or electronically
- Greet customers who walk in for orders
- Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems promptly and professionally (i.e. logistics, inventory adjustments, etc.)
- Support in the warehouse - forklift experience required
- Pull and load customer orders
- Load and unload incoming trucks
- Assist with cycle count and inventory management
- Additional duties may be required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Outgoing and sales-oriented personality
- Passion for customer service
- Attention to detail
- Strong PC skills
- Experience working well in a fast-paced and team-oriented atmosphere
