Summer Camp Director

**Hours**:
Camp begins Friday, June 7 and runs through Friday, August 23. Hours are generally 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, but they may vary between the hours of 7:30 AM and 6 PM depending on the day. Must be available for staff training and camp set-up May 30-June 6. Hours to be determined.

**Requirements**:
Must be an enthusiastic adult, at least 18 years of age, who enjoys working with children ages 5-11 years old. Experience leading groups of children, prior camp experience, management, or leadership experience preferred. Experience with sports and/or arts preferred. Teachers encouraged to apply. Must be vaccinated for (at minimum) COVID, MMR, and Tdap.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for campers that fosters kindness and respect.
- Oversee the operations and activities of our summer camp program.
- Develop and implement camp experiences that align with educational standards and promote learning and fun.
- Train and supervise camp staff.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and staff.
- Manage and organize camp materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding camp activities, policies, and camper progress.
- Organize special events, field trips, and other activities to enhance the camp experience.
- Evaluate camp programs and staff performance to make improvements as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
