The Boardwalk Hotel is finishing up a full renovation and is just steps away from world class shops, restaurants, entertainment, and nightlife. It is nestled directly between gorgeous Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean, just a stone's throw away from each.

We cater to travelers who value unique experiences, thoughtful design, and a fun, chic atmosphere, while at the same time expecting newly remodeled high end finishes, world class hospitality, loads of unique complimentary amenities, and of course, an amazing night's sleep.

**The key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role are**:

- Guest Satisfaction
- Gross Revenue of the hotel
- Profitability of the hotel

**These are driven by**:

- Customer experience and ratings
- Occupancy
- Marketing/Branding/Business Development

You will be focused on revenue generating activities and conscious that our bottom line depends on your ability to increase revenue while keeping an eye on expenses.

This Dynamic Leader will be responsible for the following areas:
**Management**
- You are leading a team.
- You’re scheduling housekeeping, maintenance and other staff.
- Front desk. We’re a small property and you’re covering shifts while working. In fact, most of the time, you are our bellhop and front desk clerk.
- You’re working with our marketing department.
- Changing pricing to ensure maximum revenue and occupancy

**Communication**
- You will continue to automate as much as possible to ensure we’re on the cutting edge of technology while continuing to have great service.
- You love dealing with customers. You are amazing at solving problems.

**REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE**
- Excellent communication skills
- Working onsite at the hotel.
- Customer service and/or hospitality experience a necessity
- Based in San Diego (preferably in or near Mission Beach)
- A student of hospitality and in interest in curating amazing customer experiences
- Flexibility to deal with challenges that come up
- Comfortable working with passionate, loyal, and sometimes blunt entrepreneurs

**Base Salary **of $68,000 with performance bonuses and commissions that will net between $10,000-20,000 in additional income. There will be further profit sharing bonuses that would allow this person to generate over $100k of income.

**Terms and Details.**
- Paid vacation and sick time off (note that as as the Hotel GM, you’ll be responsible for properly staffing the hotel when not there).
- 90-day trial period in which specific bonus plan will be created
- Bonuses will be based on hitting revenue targets, customer reviews, and overall profitability of the hotel.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
