**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with potential clients and visit sites as necessary.
- Document details and create a feasible project.
- Design detailed spaces including new moldings, windows and doors, and lighting. Kitchen cabinetry must be Airy Kitchens brand.
- Create presentations for clients.
- Present design to clients and manage follow up needs.
- Write contracts and receive deposits for all sales.
- Create build documents for each project for contractors and project manager.
- Work with Project Manager during construction to ensure the built product meets expectations.

**Other responsibilities may include**:

- Source hardware, furniture, window coverings, etc.
- On site visits
- Creating marketing materials
- Writing articles about design for our blog.

Our firm is know for whimsical rooms and bright colors along with well organized layouts and functional spaces. We work around Philadelphia with most jobs in the Northwest and the main line. We love our customers and strive to deliver the best experience and project possible.

You will be working with a small team of designers and project managers that know a lot about houses and renovation. We also enjoy working with wonderful clients and a great team of contractors. There is a lot of work to do and we all keep different schedules. To accommodate our clients sometimes early or late meetings are required, but typically work is 830-5 M-F. because you will have your own projects and clients, we need someone who is organized and self sufficient.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor in architecture, interior design, furniture design, or minimum three years in kitchen design.
- 2 year minimum professional experience in design with projects to show for it.
- Licensed driver, comfortable and knowledgeable driving in and around Philadelphia. Your own transportation preferred.
- Proficient working knowledge of Sketchup required. Photoshop, illustrator, mac proficiency preferred. You will be tested on your sketchup abilities at interview.
