Wagman is a fourth generation, family-owned company with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia and is headquartered in York, PA. Founded in 1902, as a heavy civil contractor, Wagman is a nationally recognized leader in the industry. Core competencies include: design-build, infrastructure, marine construction, modified concrete, grooving and grinding, and geotechnical construction services.

**Essential Functions**:

- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete parapets, caps, columns, footings, retaining walls, abutments, deck slabs and any other concrete structures to specified grade and texture.
- Use hand tools and power tools including but not limited to floats, trowels, edgers and screeds.
- Remove rough and defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or power chisel.
- Patch holes or defects with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
- Wet and rub concrete with hand tools to get desired finish.
- May be temporarily assigned to carpenter or labor-type work to fill in between finishing duties
- Carry, load, unload and stack materials.
- Shovel, rake, spread and vibrate concrete into place.
- Climb embankments and ladders to carry material to various work sites on project as needed.
- Jackhammer and saw cut concrete.
- Clean up project site of debris.

**Physical Requirements of Essential Functions**:

- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds from ground level to waist level and 30 pounds to above shoulder level throughout a scheduled work shift.
- Continuous standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift.
- Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and crawl.
- Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather.
- Position requires acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing.
- It also requires the ability to reach, lift and perform work above shoulder height—and the ability to work on uneven surfaces and in confined spaces.
